MA Salam Rubel: Keeping the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, free food items were distributed among 200 helpless and needy families in Thakurgaon on the occasion of the death anniversary of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's son Arafat Hossain Koko.
On Thursday (27 March) at 12 noon, the food items were distributed at the terrace of 'Gadeya Islami Academy' located in the Gadeya Union of the Sadar sub-district.
A brief discussion was held in the premises of the Islamic Academy on the occasion of distribution of free food items. Speech on this, Organizational Secretary of Gadeya Union BNP of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Noor Alam Shah, Teacher and Social Worker Yasin Ali, Dabirul Islam Kabir, President of Gadeya Islami Academy Ibrahim Khalil, Social Worker Saiful Haque Lembu, Social Worker Soldjar Hossain, Journalist Majedur Rahman Majed, Rahmat Arif Head.
At the end of the speech- organized by renowned businessman Alamgir Kabir Rana and with the overall support of Noor Mohammad Nooru Miya Welfare Trust and with the overall support of Gadhya Friends Organization, various food items including rice, dal, semai, sugar, soybean oil were distributed free of cost to each and every one among 200 helpless and needy families. Iftar items were also distributed among 600 people.
